We built the contract review we wish existed
Most people sign contracts they don't fully understand. The provisions that end up costing them — vague security deposit language, hidden auto-renewal clauses, personal guarantee exposure — are buried in legal boilerplate. Employment Contract Review exists to change that.
What Employment Contract Review is
Employment Contract Review is an AI-powered contract analysis tool. You upload a contract — residential apartment, commercial office, retail space, or any rental agreement — and our AI reads every clause and flags anything that could cost you money, limit your rights, or create unexpected obligations. You get a risk score from 0 to 100, flagged clauses organized by severity, plain-English explanations, and specific recommended actions. Results in under 60 seconds.
What Employment Contract Review is NOT
Not a law firm
Employment Contract Review does not provide legal advice and is not a substitute for an attorney. Our analysis is informational only.
Not jurisdiction-specific legal advice
contract laws vary by state and country. Our analysis flags common risk patterns but cannot replace advice from a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.
Not a substitute for an attorney on complex deals
For high-value commercial contracts, personal guarantees, or deals with significant financial exposure, we strongly recommend also consulting a licensed real estate attorney.
Not infallible
AI analysis can miss nuance, misread unusual clause structures, or fail to account for local legal context. Always review our output critically.
How we handle your documents
Your document is encrypted in transit using TLS. It is stored temporarily only to generate your analysis, and deleted from our servers after the report is complete. We do not share your documents with third parties and do not use them to train AI models.
Our methodology
Employment Contract Review's analysis model was developed and tested against 500+ real contract documents across residential, commercial, retail, office, and industrial categories, spanning multiple U.S. states and international jurisdictions. Each contract type has a tailored analysis framework. Risk flags are calibrated against common legal standards and the provisions that most frequently lead to financial disputes for non-lawyer signers.
Editorial standards
Research & drafting
All analysis frameworks are grounded in primary legal sources, real contract language from multiple jurisdictions, and cross-referenced against commonly disputed provisions in landlord-tenant and commercial contract litigation.
Editorial review
Risk flag logic and plain-English explanations are reviewed for factual accuracy, clarity, and alignment with current legal standards before deployment.
Ongoing updates
Analysis frameworks are reviewed when laws change, when new contract structures emerge, or when users flag inaccuracies. We treat our analysis as a living system, not a static product.
